South American biofuel producer Pure Biofuels has decided to increase the production of their biodiesel plant near Lima, Peru. The plant will have a capacity of 52.5 million gallons of fuel per year from three 17.5 million gallon modules. The plant is at the Calllao Port near Lima on a 47,000 square meter plot of land near the La Pampilla Refinery, one of Peru's largest oil refineries.
