Davis, California – home to a University campus that's doing a lot of research on a wide variety of alternative fuels – is now also home to a new ZAP dealership. Davis Electric Cars is selling the Chinese-built ZAP Xebra sedan and truck. The three-wheeled Xebra can get about 25 miles on a full charge of its lead acid batteries and is actually classified as a motorcycle rather than a car. The Xebra starts at about $10,000.
