Acura, in particular, has struggled recently and shifted a significant part of its lineup toward SUVs and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/crossover\/\">crossovers<\/a>. Acura has already shelved plans for V8 and V10 engines for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/acura\/rl\/\">RL<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/acura\/nsx\/\">NSX<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Automotive News is now reporting that Acura may instead revive the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/acura\/rsx\/\">RSX<\/a> which was discontinued in 2006. With Honda adding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/honda\/cr_z\/\">CR-Z<\/a> hybrid sport coupe next year, it seems possible that Acura could add a new compact using the CR-Z&#x27;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/hybrid\/\">hybrid<\/a> powertrain. With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/bmw\/\">BMW<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/volvo\/\">Volvo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/audi\/\">Audi<\/a> all offering compact models and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/lexus\/\">Lexus<\/a> expected to add one soon, it would make sense for Acura to get back to the segment where the original Integra debuted.
