{"id":5141,"date":"2021-01-10T00:50:24","date_gmt":"2021-01-10T00:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archive.abuelsamid.com\/?p=5141"},"modified":"2021-01-10T18:30:11","modified_gmt":"2021-01-10T18:30:11","slug":"audi-pushes-back-new-cuv-introductions-including-diesel-and-hybrids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.abuelsamid.com\/?p=5141","title":{"rendered":"Audi pushes back new CUV introductions, including diesel and hybrids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in January when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/audi\/\">Audi<\/a> showed us Q7 TDi at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/detroit-auto-show\/\">Detroit Auto Show<\/a>, they said it would go on sale in mid-2008 and only a few weeks ago they gave indications that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/hybrid\/\">hybrid<\/a> version would also be available in the third quarter of 2008. Now, however, it appears that both of these vehicles &#8211; along with the expected new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/audi\/q5\/\">Q5<\/a> &#8211; will not bow until the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/detroit+2009\/\">2009 Detroit Auto Show<\/a>. The Q5 is a smaller <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/crossover\/\">CUV<\/a> based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/volkswagen\/tiguan\/\">VW Tiguan<\/a> platform.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently Audi didn&#x27;t want their new models arriving just as the 2008 model year was drawing to a close and instead chose to hold them until January 2009 when they could be labeled as early 2010 models.
